Non response bias is also known as participation bias.
Non response bias is that type of bias where people do not respond to a survey or are unwilling in submitting a response due to a factor which makes them differ from people who respond to the survey.
The difference between non-responder and responder is an influencing factor for the bad response.
Participation bias may occur due to a bad survey construction. It may also be because of an irrelevant decision made by the respondent.
