amount of water be added = X
given for 1 part of conc developer we should add 5 parts of water
and amount of conc developer and water needed are
X + Y = 450
but X = 5Y
5Y + Y = 450
Y = 450/6 = 75 milli-liters
==> 75 milli-liters of conc developer should be added for 450 miili-liters of mixed developer
