Given, arrival rate,

λ = 20

per hour service rate

μ = 30

Now,
1) Probability of busy system=

\frac{λ}{μ}

also called

ρ = \frac{λ}{μ} = \frac{20}{30} = 0.67

2) Expected no. of cestomers in the system=

\frac{ρ}{1 - ρ}

= \frac{0.67}{1 - 0.67}

= 2

3) Expected no. customers waiting in the system

= ρ \times \frac{ρ}{1 - ρ}

= 0.67 \times \frac{0.67}{1 - 0.67}

= 1.34
