In this question we have to find the frequency, wavelength and the range associated with the body emitting photons.
From Wines Displacement Law
λ T = 2.9 × 10 3
We know that,
T = 27 C = 300 K
Therefore,
λ × 300 = 2.9 × 10 3
λ = 9660   n m
We know that,
f = c λ = 3 × 10 8 9660 × 10 9 = 3.105 × 10 13   s 1
It lies in the Near Infrared region as the energy of the EM wave=hν=0.124 eV
i.e. Near ultraviolet, visible, Near Infrared region
