20 kg block is falling with no air resistance ,on 20 kg block gravitational force acts due to 2 kg and due to earth . Gravitational force due to 2kg mass is very small and can be ignored as compared to earth .So,net gravitational force is due to earth and it is given as 20g .
So, force = (20)(9.8) = 196 N
