Here, m 1 and m 2 are the masses of the two bodies, G is the gravitational constant, r is the distance between them.

From the above equation ,The gravitational force depends on the separation between them which is same and gravitational force is independent of the nature of the medium. Thus there is no change for the gravitational force after dipping into the water.
