The definition of the derivative says that when h is small,
f ( x + h ) f ( x ) h f ( x ) .
Multiply that approximation by h and rearrange to get
f ( x + h ) f ( x ) + h × f ( x ) .
Now cleverly choose f, and h to get the approximation you want.
