When we arrange the data in either increasing or decreasing order, the value of the middle term is called median.
Arranging these in increasing order so that 43 is middle term and missing term is x we get
25, x, 34, 43, 46, 77, 68
As we have three terms to the right of 43, we must have x somewhere to the left of 43.
