Dunkers are members of pious religious sect. During a 10 year period from 1719 to 1729, all of the Dunkers fled from Germany to avoid religious intolerance. They have remained there ever since, relatively isolated. Their founders are still existing in Germany. They had been self isolated by their strict marriage rules for more than 2 centuries. So we can consider this population as a closed breeding population. Genetic drift is the random change in allele frequency of a small population due to random sampling of organisms. It may be migration or any natural calamity that isolate a population. If it is a natural calamity no founders exists. If it is a migration, founder will be there. Group is strictly isolated from the founder and It is called founder effect. Frequency of blood group A in this group is 60% while in German and American population, the frequency is 40% only. The Dunkers
