Let y be width of rectangle
Thus, the perimeter or rectangle =2(x+y)
Perimeter of rectangle =112 yd
x=6y
112=2(6y+y)
112=2×7y
y=1122×7
y=8yd
x=6×y
=6×8=48yd
Thus, length =48yd
width =8yd
