1.chi square goodness of fit test:
Chi-square goodness of fit test is basically used to check whether our data distribution is following the expected distribution according to the expected frequency that we have mentioned with respect to observed frequency of the original dataset.
This test is going to compare the expected frequency with observed frequency and on that basis chi-square test statistic value will help us in rejecting or not rejecting the null hypothesis.
2. Chi-square test of independence:
In chi-square test of independence we will be having two variable one is row and other is: variable and basically our aim is to check whether the variable X depends on variable bhai which is row and column variable respectively.
The example of chi-square test of independence can be explained as the number of cigarettes smoked in a day depends on the gender of smoker or not.
This claim can be tested with the help of chi-square test of independence.
