x2+x2(x+1)23=0
Which simplifies as x4+2x3x26x3(x+1)2=0
x4+2x3x26x3=0
Factorising, we get
(x2x1)(x2+3x+3)=0
For which we get two equations to solve
x2x1=0
x2+3x+3=0
Solving the first eqn. we get x=1±52 The second equation has no (real) solution.
x=1±52

=1(1+x)2(x2(x+1)2+x23(x+1)2)
=1(1+x)2(x4+2(x+1)x23(x+1)2)
=1(1+x)2(x2(x+1))(x2+3(x+1))
