Use the property that
sin(xy)=sinxcosycosxsiny
We can rewrite the left side of the equation.
sinxcosx=1
2(sinxcosπ4cosxsinπ4)=1
sin(xπ4)=12
xπ4=π4+2kπ,ππ4+2kπ
x=π2+2kπ,(2k+1)π
Don't square both sides, it creates extraneous solutions
