Assume that a procedure yields a binomial distribution with a trial repeated n=13n=13 times. Use either the binomial probability formula (or technology) to find the probability of k=8k=8 successes given the probability p=0.73p=0.73 of success on a single trial.

Binomial distribution : P(X= k)=nck*pk* (1-p)n-k
Where n=  total number of elements
k= number of elements we chosen out of n
p= probability of success.

n=13

k=8

p=0.73

Now we have find P(X=k)=P(X=5)

P(X=5)=13c5*(0.73)5*(1-0.73)8-5

=11c5*(0.73)5*(0.27)3

=5.25150931
