23sinθ+53cosθ=cos(θ+α)
23sinθ+53cosθ=cosθcosαsinθsinα
Equating both sides and considering 0<α<90 i.e both cosα and sinα lie on the first quadrant.
cosα=53 (1)
sinα=23 (2)
Dividing (2) by (1)
sinαcosα=2353=25
tanα=25
α=tan125
