If you are familiar with Euler's rule z=eix=cosx+isinx we can express z as
z=2(32+i2)=2(cosπ6+isinπ6)=2eiπ6
thus z6=(2eiπ6)6
=26×(eiπ0)6
=64×eiπ
and then reversing back into original form
=64(cosπ+isinπ)
=64(1+i(0))
=64
