Step 1
The trigonometric form of a complex number is
z=x+y×i=r×(cosθ+isinθ)
where
r=x2+y2
and
θ=tan1(yx)
For 4 we have that
z=4=4+0×i
Hence
x=4. y=0
therefore r=4 and θ=0
Hence in trigonometric form
z=4×(cos0+isin0)
