The absolute value function are the function where the variable is within an absolute value operator .The absolute value operator applied gives different results.
Example of absolute value function is:
1. The absolute value function is |x9|=5.
Here the absolute value operator is the modulus sign.
The solution of the absolute value function is,
5=±(x9)
Step 2
It possess two values :
1.(x−9)=5
x=14.
2. (x−9)=−5
x=4.
Thus, for the given absolute value function the value of x are 14, 4.
