I would normally do this by just long dividing 7 by 15. Long division allows you to convert any fraction into its decimal representation.

If you can change the fraction to an equivalent fraction over 100 then the numerator becomes your decimal. E.g. 325=12100=0.12
If it doesn't multiply to 100 like this one doesn't then you have to divide.
0.466666666, 0.46666666667 or 0.47 depending on how you round it
