You must first determine the lowest common multiple by evaluating the common denominator between 12 and 5.
Those numbers do not have any common factor so the MCM is 125 
Then you have for the first fraction 6012=5 to multiply for the numerator. For the second fraction you have 605=12 to multiply for the numerator. 
712+45=(7560)+12460 
=3560+4860 
You can now add the numerators.
3560+4860=35+4860 
=8360
