we know that
ddx(xn)=nxn1...(1)
ddx(cosx)=sinx...(2)
Step 2
so, by using equation(1) and equation(2)
s(t)=ddt(cos4(12t))
=4cos3(12t)ddt(cos(12t))
=4cos3(12t)(sin(12t))ddt(12t)
=4sin(12t)cos3(12t)(02)
=8sin(12t)cos3(12t)
hence, derivative of given function is 8sin(12t)cos3(12t).
