Since you have posted multiple problems ,we solve the first three problems for you .To get the remaining problems solved please repost the question mentioning the problems to be solved .
We have given some linear as well as quadratic polynomials and we have to find the factor for them.
Step 2
1) We have the linear polynomial
y=3x+15
y=3(x+5)
Since 3 is a constant and (x+5) is a linear factor and also since the given equation y=3x+15 is also linear so this factorization is complete factorization for y=3x+15.
2) We have the polynomial
y=4x-20
y=4(x-5)
Since 4 is a constant and (x-5) is a linear factor and also since the given equation y=4x-20 is also linear so this factorization is complete factorization for y=4x-20.
3) We have the polynomial :
x27x+10
=x25x2+10
=x(x-5)-2(x-5)
=(x-5)(x-2)
Since the given polynomial x27x+10 is a quadratic so it can have at most two linear factors and at the above step we have factored the polynomial in two linear factors .So this factorization is complete factorization for the given polynomial x27x+10.
