So, the other number is (x+5)
Now, it is also given that the product of the number is 36
It means, x(x+5)=36
Step 2
b) The quadratic equatim is
x2+5x36=0
c) x2+5x36=0
Ri>x2+9x4x36=0
x(x+9)4(x+9)=0
(x4)(x+9)=0
x+9=0 or x4=0
x=9, x=4
d) It two number were posite, the value of two original numbers are 4, 4+5
=4, 9
