Given to us is y=2x+4x
Now y=24x2 and y=4(2)x3=8x3
Now we know the curvature is given by the equation
k=|y|[1+(y)2]32
Now substituting the above values in the equation k turns out to be equal to =|8x3|[1+(24x2)2]32
At x=1,k=8[1+(24)2]32=855
The radius of curvature is r=1k=558
Result:
The radius of curvature is r=1k=558
