Step 1 Given,
The functions
a. -f(x-5)+2
b. f(-x-2)+3
We have to write the transformation that have been applied to f(x).
Step 2 (a)
Writing the transformation for -f(x-5)+2
f(x) to f(x-5),
It will transform the graph of f(x) to 5 units right
f(x-5) to -f(x-5) ,
It will give the mirror image of f(x-5) in the x-axis as plane mirror.
-f(x-5) to -f(x-5)+2 ,
it will shift the graph of -f(x-5) to 2 units vertically up

Step 3
(b)
Writing the transformation for f(-x-2)+3
f(x) to f(-x)
It will give the image of f(x) about the y axis.
f(-x) to f(-x-2)
It will shift the graph of f(-x), 2 units to the right.
f(-x-2) to f(-x-2)+3
It will shift the graph of f(-x-2), 3 units vertically up.
