Producer B supply car mirrors to Distributor
P(B)=0.75
Probability that mirror by A is defected is 0.04=P(DA)=0.04 where D is defected
Probability that mirror by B is defected is 0.02=P(DB)=0.02

To find the probability that mirror selected at random will be defected
P(D)=P(A)×P(DA)+P(B)×P(DB) By using total probability theorem
P(D)=0.25×0.04+0.75×0.02
