Step 2

Given a1=16,an=98
We have to find S13. So here n=13.
We know that,
Sum the arithmetic series Sn=n2(a1+an)
Where a1= 1st term of the series
an= last term of the series
Here Sn=132(16+98)
=132×114
=741
