Let, A= Head on first coin toss
A= Tail on first coin toss
B= Head on first second toss
B= Tail on first second toss
Probability of head on both tosses is 0.7.
P(A)=P(B)=0.7
Probability of tail on both tosses is 0.3.
P(A)=P(B)=0.3
Probability of obtaining exactly two heads:
Since, A and B are independent,
P(A intersection B)=P(A)P(B)
=0.70.7
=0.49.
Thus the Probability of obtaining exactly two heads is 0.49.
