Relationship between t test for comparing two means and one-way ANOVA:
The t test is a special type of ANOVA which is used to compare only two population means. If there are two populations then t-test will be used to compare the means and if there are more than two populations then ANOVA is used to compare the means.
Thus, t-test is used to compare two means and in one-way ANOVA F-test is used to compare several means.
Relationship between Wilcoxon test and Krushkal-wallis test:
Wilcoxon test is used to determine whether or not the medians of two distributions are same. Wilcoxon test is used in case of two samples. Krushkal-wallis test is used to compare the medians in case of more than 2 samples. That is, Krushkal-wallis test an extension of Wilcoxon test.
Thus, Krushkal-wallis test is an extension to the Wilcoxon test.
