logx+log(x+2)=1
log[x(x+2)]=1
x(x+2)=e
x2+2xe=0
applying quadratic formula,
x=b±b24ac2a
=2±224×1×(e)2
=2±21+e2
=1±1+e
hence x=1+1+e
or x=11+e
