Step 1
Solve the equation.
x(3x+4)=5
Step 2
We have x(3x+4)=5
$⇒x\left(3x+4\right)=5$
$⇒3{x}^{2}+4x=5$
$⇒3{x}^{2}+4x-5=0$
By applying Sridharacharya formula, we get
$x=\frac{-b±\sqrt{{b}^{2}-4ac}}{2a}$
$⇒x=\frac{-4±\sqrt{{4}^{2}-4×3×\left(-5\right)}}{2×3}$, {since, a=3, b=4 and c=-5}
$⇒x=\frac{-4±\sqrt{76}}{6}$
$⇒x=\frac{-4±\sqrt{4×19}}{6}$
$⇒x=\frac{-4±2\sqrt{19}}{6}$
$⇒x=\frac{-2±\sqrt{19}}{3}$
Hence,
