Considering the equation−(i), we have:−
(x+3)3(3x1)2=x3=4
x3+27+9x2+27x9x21+6x=x3+4
[Using (a+b)3=a3+b3+3a2b+3ab2 and (ab)2=a2+b22ab]
x3+26+33x=x3+4 (Cancelling out x3)
33x+26=4
33x+22=0 (Taking out 11 constant in left hand side)
11(3x+2)=0
3x+2=0
3x=2
Answer x=23
