Evaluate: f(1)+g(2)
Step 2
We have,
f(x)=3x2...(1) and g(x)=x21...(2)
Putting the value of x=1 in equation(1), we get
f(1)=3(1)-2=3-2=1
f(1)=1...(3)
Putting the value of x=2 in equation(1), we get
g(2)=(2)21=41=3
g(2)=3...(4)
Now, adding equation (3) and equation(4)
f(1)+g(2)=1+3=4
f(1)+g(2)=4
Hence, f(1)+g(2)=4
