Given:
Ordered pairs representing the table are {(1,6),(0,4),(1,3),(2,0),(3,0)}
Calculation: A relation is function if every element of x is associated with unique element of y.
Domain is set of all elements in x and Range is set of all elements of x which are associated with elements of x.
Ordered pairs representing the table are {(1,6),(0,4),(1,3),(2,0),(3,0)}
As every element of x has its unique image in y i.e. no element of x is repeated with more than one value of y therefore S is a function.
Domain: All elements of x {1,0,1,2,3} and Range: All elements of y
Conclusion:
S is function and its Domain and Range are given by Sets {1,0,1,2,3} and {6,4,3,0} respectively.
