a) To write: A binomial that represents the height of the projection.
Given information: Height of wall is xft. and width of projection is (x3)ft. Area is represented by x28x+15.
b) To find: Perimeter of projection when height of the wall is 8ft.

a) Calculation:
Writing the left hand side factored and simplifying,
x28x+15
=x25x3x+15
=x(x5)3(x5)
=(x3)(x5)
The height of the projection is represented by binomial (x5).
b) Calculation:
Width of projection =(x3)ft.
Height of protection =(x5)ft.
Perimeter of protection =2[(x5)+(x3)]
Putting x=8,
Perimeter of projection =2[85)+(83)]
=2[3+5]
=16
Thus, the perimeter of projection is 16ft.
