For two books there are x2 shepments.
For there to five books there are x3 shepments.
Step 2
Given that total number of orders for five or fewer books was 6400
x1+x2+x3=6400 - (i)
Shipping charges are $4 for one book , $6 for two books and $7 for there to five books.
Total shipping charges for these orders = $33600
4x1+6x2+7x3=33600(ii)
The number of shipments with $7 charges was 1000 less than the number with $6 charges.

Therefore , we have the system of linear equations.
