Given identity 1cos2θ1+sinθ=sinθ
First from the left-hand side,
1cos2θ1+sinθ
Here use the Pythagorean trigonometry identity, cos2θ=1sin2θ
1cos2θ1+sin2θ=11sin2θ1+sinθ
=1(1sinθ)(1+sinθ)(1+sinθ)
=1(1sinθ)
=11+sinθ
=sinθ
Therefore it is established that the left-hand side equal to the right-hand side quantity
