The functions f(x)=x+2, and g(x)=x24x2 are not same in all respect.
g(x)=x24x2
=x222x2
=(x2)(x+2)x2
=(x+2)
=f(x)
Although the function g(x) simplifies to the function f(x).
But the function g(x) is not defined at x=2.
Thus, domains for f(x) and g(x) are different although the functions are similar in nature except at x=2.
