The break-even points are where C(x)=R(x)
\(\displaystyle{2400}+{10}{x}+{x}^{{2}}={120}{x}\)
\(\displaystyle{x}^{{2}}-{110}{x}+{2400}={0}\)
(x-30)(x-80)
x=30,80
y-coordinats solved with either C(x) or R(x).
R(x)=y=120x
x=30
\(\displaystyle{y}={120}\times{30}={3600}.\)
x=80
\(\displaystyle{y}={120}\times{80}={9600}\)
So the break-even points are (30. 3600) and (80. 9600)
