Let 2x-3y=-4 be (a) and x+y=4 be (b). Multiply (b) by 3:
3x+3y=12 (c)
Add each side of (a) and (c) and solve for x:
5x=8
x=85
Substitute x=85 to (b) and solve for y:
85+y=4
y=485
y=20585
y=125
The answer:
x=85.y=125.
