L.C.M.: The smallest number that is a multiple of each of the two or more numbers is known as the least common multiple.
L.C.M. of two or more co-prime numbers is their product. 
Numbers that only have prime factor 1 in common are known as co-prime numbers.
There are two methods to find the L.C.M: 
a) Using multiples of the largest numbers, write each multiple down until a multiple that all numbers share is discovered. The L.C.M. multiple was discovered.
b) Prime factorization: In this method, prime factors of each number are written. 
The L.C.M. of the numbers is the product of the prime factors counted the maximum number of times they appear in any number. 
Calculation: 
By using prime factorization: 
Prime factors of 2=21 
Prime factors of 14=271 
Maximum number of times prime factors 2 and 7 occurs is once. 
Therefore L.C.M. =27=14
