If you're having difficulty identifying the parent function try doing part (c) first by using the point-plotting method, it may help. Otherwise, it should be fairly obvious what the parent function is at a glance.
2 For part (b) just look at what has changed relative to the parent function. If you are unsure about what a particular change means, see pages 43, 45, and 47 in your textbook.
