The equation \(4x-3y=5\) and \(2x+7y=-8\) form a system of linear equations because by solving the two equations we get the district values of x and y which \(\displaystyle{x}=\frac{{11}}{{34}}\) and \(\displaystyle{y}=-\frac{{21}}{{17}}\)
