5+(x2)3=x+38
Multiply both sides by 3824
Note that 24 is a product of 3 and 8. Which are the denominators of the fractions is LHS and RHS.
245+(24x23)=(24x+38)
120+8(x2)=3(x+3)
120+8x-16=3x+9
8x+104=3x+9
Subtract 3x from both sides. To get 5x+104=9
Subtract 104 from both sides. To get 5x=9-104
5x=-95
Divide both sides by 5. To get x=955=19
