Given: g(w)=tanh(4w2+w)
we know that
ddx(tanhx)=sech2x...(1)
Step 2
so, by using equation (1)
g(w)=ddw(tanh(4w2+w))
=sech2(4w2+w)ddw(4w2+w)
=sech2(4w2+w)(4(2w)+1)
=(8w+1)sech2(4w2+w)
hence, derivative of given expression is (8w+1)sech2(4w2+w).
