Given: f(x,y)=excosy
We know that for any given function f(x,y)=g(x)h(y)
All partial derivative is given by
x(f(x,y))=h(y)g(x)
and
y(f(x,y))=g(x)h(y)
Step 2
So,
x(excosy)=cosyex   (useddx(ex)=ex)
and
y(excosy)=ex.(siny)   (Useddx(cosx)=sinx)
y(excosy)=exsiny
Hence, x(f(x,y))andy(f(x,y)) are respectively excosyandexsiny.
