what is this Echelon method?
off course the solution exists by hook or crook...
let the number of the 10-denomination bills =x
--------------------"----20-denomination bills=y
given that, # of 5-denomination bills = 3x, and that
3x+x+y=4x+y=70........................(i), and that
5(3x)+10(x)+20(y)=960 i.e.
5x+4y=192...........................(ii)
solving (i) and (ii) we get
# of 5-denomination bills=24
# of 10-denomination bills=8
# of 20-denomination bills = 38
