The measure of central tendency is a value data by which the whole data set can be described with a single value that represents the middle or central of its distribution.
There is three measure of central tendency.
-Mean
-Median
-Mode
Often, the median is the best central tendency for the skewed distribution.
But for categorical data set mean and median cannot be calculated.
Step 2
Thus, the mode is the measure of central tendency which is best with a skewed distribution for the categorical (nominal or ordinal) data set.
