a.Since PR¯¯¯¯¯ and PQ¯¯¯¯¯, then RQ by the Isosceles Triangle Theorem so mR=mQ=7x. The sum of the angle measures of a triangle is 180° so we can write:
mP+mQ+mR=180
46x+7x+7x=180
60x=180
x=3
So, the angle measures are:
mP=46(3)=138°
